Port Harcourt Higher Life Conference, 2009: Living The Supernatural

“If you function in the three things that do not fail; faith, hope and love how then can you fail? Where would failure come from?”This profound statement, by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, encapsulates the events of the closing day of the Higher life conference which held in Port Harcourt., South, South Nigeria.
In a most memorable and exciting manner, our man of God aptly described what it means to live the higher life. “To live a higher life means, no longer living your life in the ordinary plane of life but by living the supernatural on earth” Pastor Chris launched us into the higher life practically taking us by the hand and showing us how to have this kind of life.
The words heard tonight were not ordinary words, as they were spoken; they communicated the ability to do those words. For everyone present, it was a great desire that the meeting would never come to an end.
The meeting which had begun on Monday 2nd February,2009 had witnessed an avalanche of the miraculous, a display of the heavenly on earth and the demonstration of the Spirit of God like never before. The meetings were practical demonstrations of the living word of God, expressive showings of the divine life of God at work in a man. The results? Catalogues of testimonies, Salvation of souls and renewal of minds.
Everyone present received something from the Father. God remembered every one even the young and the little ones were not left out of God’s divine touch.
As the man sent from God rendered prophetic prayers backed up by the Spirit of God and with power he declared peace and prosperity within the borders of Rivers state, and in the presence of over two hundred thousand people, he drove out the demons that had thrived in the state making merchandise of men.
For the Garden city, most certainly, healing has begun, prosperity has come to stay and the Prince of Peace has taken His abode in this once turbulent city.
