For Brother Ernest Rich, a 200-level student of the University of Benin, working in his fathersâ vineyard is of utmost importance, an opportunity he has never ceased to utilize to the fullest, demonstrating the spirit of excellence which is ours by divine right.
The debonair 21 years old savvy sales attendant, in-charge of the Innercity stand at the New Benin LoveWorld exhibition center, professed his love to serve God and admitted that he was not a first timer at the LoveWorld Exhibitions. He said he had also been a stand attendant for the Cyber Ministry during last yearsâ exhibition and was fast developing love for the opportunity to introduce channels to people who wanted to be blessed through partnership.
Passionately, he explained the vision of our Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, to take children off the street and give them basic necessities of life whilst imparting them with a Godly heritage. Brother Ernest recalled Pastor Chrisâs words; âevery child is your childâ pointer to the fact that children should not be left to chance and the welfare of children all over the world should be the concern of every believer.
Expatiating further on the aptness of the Innercity missions in the Nation, he touched on the initiatives put in place by the ministry arm like the âfeed the Nationâ, âAdopt a Childâ and several other initiatives designed to give children lacking care due to one reason or the other, a testimony for the future.
Positioning himself rightly at the entrance of the receptively arranged stand, a small laptop to his left, running Innercity promos and testimonies, 2 comfortable black seats on either sides; a glass center table bearing a bowl of sweets for guests, stood elegantly on a small rich rug, an impressive Innercity banner graced the right hand corner of the stall, while posters of Rev Tom and Pastor Joy Amenkhienan at the Benin Innercity center dotted the wall; neatly dressed brother Ernest was the epitome of a good sales person with a well organized stand.
Brother Bamidele Oni of the Haven stand, Rita Edobor in LoveWorld branded, Osato Omoruyi in ministry materials, Igbenedion Patrick of LoveWorld books, Benson Debbie of Rhapsody of Realities stand, Umoru Sonia, Ehi Osasogie and Brother Samuel Enoma of the Cyber ministry all keenly contested in the competition which was chaired by the BLW media manager, Brother Eliashib Ime-James.
When declared the best stand attendant at the New Benin Center, Brother Ernest could not hide his joy, beaming profusely with smiles, he said he was inspired by the honor bestowed on him and would double his effort to bring in more laborers into the vineyard of God to help keep children off the streets
